Welcome to a new year of Rugby in 2012.
REGISTRATION FOR 2012 RUGBY SEASON
The Club will be holding its annual Registration Day at Cliff Oval, Cliff Avenue, Wahroonga on Sunday 5 February 2012 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm.
To register returning players or new players the club provides you with the choice of either registering online or attending registration day. There will be no mail out this year.
We encourage all returning and new players to register online before Sunday 5 February 2012 so that you can avoid the rush on Registration Day at Cliff Oval.
For returning player online registrations you will receive an email containing your login and unique password prior to registration day.
With respect to new players you can register at http://sjru.com.au/buddha/register/. When you register please ensure you choose Wahroonga as the club to play for (this is the important part - bottom of the first page). Additionally new players will need to email ‘proof of age’ (ALL new players) and a digital photo for U10's and above to wahroongarugbyclub@bigpond.com. The photo is used for player ID.
Please ensure you check and amend where necessary - the detailed information from the Australian Rugby Union database. Note the 'contact' field beside the Doctor's details is for the contact phone number.
The Registration Fees for 2012 have been amended for the Opens (lowered) and kept the same as 2011 for all other age groups.
Fees are as follows: -
Opens (U17/U18): 1st player $100 2nd player $90 3rd player $80 4th player $70
Juniors (U10 to U16): 1st player $175 2nd player $165 3rd player $155 4th player $145
Minis (U6 to U9): 1st player $165 2nd player $155 3rd player $145 4th player $135
WAHROONGA RUGBY NEEDS YOUR HELP:
Volunteers: Our club is a community based organisation that relies on the time and generosity of its members to operate and be successful. As such the club is always looking for parents who would like to be further involved through volunteering to be on the management committee, coaching, managing, refereeing, or simply assisting on game days. If you can help then please complete the appropriate part of the Player Registration Form to let us know – any help will be gratefully received!
Clubhouse Donations: As most of you will know Stage 1 and 2 of the new clubhouse has now been completed due to the overwhelming generosity of many business’s and families associated with the club.
We are now looking to complete the fit out of the clubhouse including upstairs doors, an upstairs ceiling and flooring. In order to do this the club needs your ongoing generosity and support to be able to purchase the necessary materials via cash donations, which if done by the Australian Sports Foundation are fully tax deductible –
